Non-ferrous Metals

All our single wire plating plants for non-ferrous metals – Cu-wire and Cu-alloys – coating with zinc, tin, nickel

and silver are high speed plants that can operate with up to 15 m/s.

 
The diameter range is 1.2 – 2.6 mm for soft Cu (250 N/m2) and 1.0 – 2.0 mm for hard Cu (450 N/m2).

Depending on the coating material – according as Sn, Zn, Ni or Ag – the wire plating of non-ferrous metals

provides different benefits: 

 

Copper wires – tinned or lead-tinned: corrosion protection, improvement of the electrical conductivity

Copper wires – silvered:  corrosion protection, improvement of the electrical conductivity, better appearance

Copper wires – nickel-plated:  corrosion protection, increase of temperature resistance
